Job Description
We are looking for a creative, talented, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media content and capable of transforming raw footage into engaging videos that capture audience attention and align with our brand identity.
Responsibilities
* Edit short-form videos, reels, and shorts related to technology news and trends.
* Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and background music.
* Enhance video quality through color correction and audio optimization.
* Create engaging content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
* Maintain consistency in editing style, branding, and visual quality.
* Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high standards.
* Stay updated with the latest social media trends and editing techniques.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software.
* Strong understanding of social media content creation and editing trends.
* Excellent storytelling, editing, and creative skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
* Portfolio or sample work is required.
* Access to a high-performance PC or laptop capable of handling professional video editing workflows.
* Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Salary
₹40,000 per month

Important Information
Training & Evaluation Period
All selected candidates will undergo a one-month training and evaluation period. During this period, performance, editing quality, creativity, communication, professionalism, and adherence to company standards will be assessed.
Continuation in the role will depend on successfully meeting the expectations and quality standards of Gist. If a candidate’s work does not align with the company’s requirements or expectations during the evaluation period, the company reserves the right to discontinue the engagement and proceed with another candidate.
