Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Planning In-Charge to manage daily production planning and coordination in a foundry environment. The role involves preparing production schedules, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring smooth execution of daily operations to meet dispatch commitments.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning
- Prepare weekly and daily production plans based on confirmed orders
- Sequence jobs efficiently to support smooth furnace operations
- Ensure availability of required materials, patterns, and consumables before scheduling
- Align production plans with available capacity across melting, moulding, and related processes
- Account for expected process losses while planning output
Daily Coordination
- Coordinate with production teams to communicate daily priorities
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans as required
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow
- Support timely dispatch by ensuring production completion and quality clearance
Reporting & Monitoring
- Track planned vs actual production and highlight gaps
- Maintain basic production data such as output, rejections, and cycle times
- Inform reporting manager of any potential delays or operational concerns
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy, or relevant experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a foundry or manufacturing setup
- Understanding of production processes and basic planning concepts
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams on the shop floor
- Proficiency in Hindi and Bengali; basic English for reporting
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to iron or steel casting processes
- Basic knowledge of production planning tools or ERP systems
- Problem-solving and coordination skills

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
