Job Title: Radiographer
Job Summary:
A Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging. They work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns.
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and other diagnostic machines.
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control protocols.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any complications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Review images for quality before submitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report faults or maintenance needs.
- Comply with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications:-DRRT,DRT,BMIT,BSC IN RADIOGRAPHY
