Digital Marketing and Customer Engagement: They develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels such as SEO, email campaigns, social media, and paid advertising to attract and retain customers. Managers also oversee customer service protocols, respond to inquiries, and create loyalty programs to enhance customer satisfaction.
Website Optimization and User Experience: E-commerce managers continuously refine the website by conducting A/B testing, analysing user behaviour, and improving site functionality to increase conversion rates. They ensure the online store is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and aligned with customer preferences
Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: They track sales performance, website traffic, and customer engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Using analytics tools, they generate reports, evaluate marketing campaigns, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
Team Leadership and Collaboration: E-commerce managers lead teams of digital content creators, customer service representatives, and technical staff. They collaborate with IT, marketing, and product departments to integrate technologies and ensure seamless operations
Strategic Planning and Compliance: They develop e-commerce strategies aligned with overall business objectives, forecast sales targets, manage budgets, and negotiate with vendors. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret sales data and optimize performance
