Job Responsibilities
- Preparation (Mise en Place): Accurately weigh, measure, and prep ingredients for doughs, batters, custards, glazes, and fillings according to established recipes. [1, 2, 3]
- Baking & Production: Assist senior chefs in baking, assembling, decorating, and finishing pastries, desserts, viennoiseries, and breads. [1, 2]
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pastry-specific equipment, such as planetary mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and tempering machines. [1, 2, 3]
- Quality Control: Taste and inspect pastry components to ensure they meet the restaurant’s exact standards for taste, texture, and visual presentation. [1, 2]
- Stock & Waste Management: Help receive and store deliveries. Rotate ingredients (FIFO), track expiry dates, and minimize food wastage. [1, 2, 3]
Hygiene & Safety
- Adhere strictly to HACCP, Food Safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain a "clean-as-you-go" policy at your workstation.
- Sanitize all work surfaces, tools, knives, and pastry molds
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
