About the Role
Oberon Overseas Education & Migration Consultancy is seeking an experienced and result-driven Senior Academic Counsellor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in study abroad counselling, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to achieve admission targets while providing exceptional guidance to students.
Job Responsibilities
- Counsel students on higher education opportunities in the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, the USA, and other study destinations.
- Assess students' academic profiles and recommend suitable universities, courses, and career pathways.
- Handle walk-in, phone, online, and referral enquiries professionally.
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including applications, documentation, offer letters, and visa guidance.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents through professional counselling and continuous follow-up.
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions by achieving monthly enrolment targets.
- Ensure high-quality counselling and excellent customer service throughout the student journey.
- Stay updated on university requirements, scholarships, visa policies, and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions using the CRM system.
- Support and mentor junior counsellors to improve team performance.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and marketing activities to generate quality leads.
Requirements
- 1-5+ years of experience in Study Abroad Counselling.
- Strong knowledge of international admissions and visa processes for multiple countries.
- Excellent communication, counselling, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
