Key Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise electrical works for solar power plant projects, including HT/LT systems, pooling substations, switchyard, and transmission line works.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical equipment such as transformers, inverters, RMUs, switchgear, HT/LT panels, and SCADA systems.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Supervise cable laying, termination, earthing, lightning protection, and associated testing activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Review SLDs, electrical layouts, BOQs, and technical drawings before and during execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and ensure safe work practices.
- Support testing, pre-commissioning, synchronization, and final commissioning activities.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily / weekly MIS reports for management review.
- Ensure timely material planning and coordinate with procurement and stores for site availability.
- Identify site-level technical challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, statutory regulations, and electrical safety norms.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in solar plant project execution
- Prior experience in utility-scale solar projects preferred
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of solar plant electrical systems and execution practices
- Hands-on experience in HT/LT systems, substations, switchyards, and transmission lines
- Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred)
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
