he Safety Steward is responsible for assisting in the implementation and monitoring of workplace health and safety practices. The role involves conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, identifying hazards, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure all workers use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report safety violations, hazards, near misses, and incidents to the Safety Officer.
- Assist in conducting toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs.
- Maintain safety records, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained at the workplace.
- Monitor work permits and ensure compliance with permit-to-work procedures.
- Assist in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and evacuation procedures.
- Guide employees and contractors on safe work practices.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure safety signage, barricades, and warning systems are properly displayed and maintained.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
