Position Title: Senior Manager – Procurement – Vendor Management
Experience Required: 5-7 Years (Minimum 3 years in the financial sector or a consultancy organization in BFSI segment)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager with experience in the Financial services sector specifically in handling projects related to Procurement life cycle which includes RFP preparation, vendor onboarding, vendor evaluation and selections, project management and coordination amongst various stake holders. The ideal candidate should have good communication and written skills and should have had the exposure of leading small project trams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Life Cycle Management o Excellent understanding of the overall procurement life cycle. Experience in handling the procurement function of or for PSUs or Public Sector Banks will be an added advantage.
o Expertise in drafting Request for Proposals including:
1. Prepare, review, and manage RFPs
2. Evaluate vendor proposals and support selection processes
3. Handle end-to-end procurement processes
4. Ensure all records comply with company policies and audit requirements o Expertise in vendor evaluation and selection o Experience is price discovery and commercial negotiations o Knowledge of GFR and CVC and procurement guidelines o Expertise in contract management and negotiations
Project Coordination:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating IT services projects across 12 public sector banks.
o Facilitate onboarding of vendors / consultants for project implementation within specified timelines.
o Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in public sector banks.
o Liaise between consultants / vendors, internal teams, and bank representatives to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Consultant Management:
o Evaluate and onboard consultants with relevant expertise in IT and financial sectors
Monitor consultant performance and ensure deliverables meet the agreed specifications. 5. Technical and Business Expertise:
o Leverage knowledge of IT systems and processes in the banking/NBFC sector to guide project execution.
o Provide insights and recommendations for process improvement and technological advancements.
6. Reporting and Documentation: o Prepare regular progress reports and present them to senior management and stakeholders. o Maintain accurate documentation of project milestones, challenges, and outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualifications:
o Bachelor in any professions / PGDBM/ MBA or equivalent
o 5-7 years of work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the financial sector dealing with a similar job profile as specified above. Experience with a consultancy organization would be an added benefit.
o Experience in handling the procurement function of or for PSUs or Public Sector Banks will be an added advantage.
o Strong understanding of IT, RFP processes, vendor evaluation. Project management is a must. Technical Skills: o Knowledge of IT systems, software implementation, and project management tools.
o Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in banking sectors. Soft Skills: o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. o Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
o Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
