Industry: Industrial Safety / PPE Manufacturing
- Develop and launch Safety Shoes, Safety Helmets, Full Body Harnesses, Safety Belts, Lanyards and other PPE products.
- Handle complete product development from concept, design, prototype, testing, certification to final production.
- Strong practical knowledge of safety footwear development, including soles, toe caps, insoles, anti-static and slip-resistant features.
- Experience in development of industrial safety helmets and fall-protection products.
- Select suitable raw materials, components and manufacturing processes for PPE products.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers and testing laboratories for sample development and product testing.
- Ensure products meet applicable BIS/IS, EN and ISO standards.
- Analyse testing results and implement required design, material and performance improvements.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market research and new product development.
- Prepare BOM, technical specifications, product datasheets and development documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Sales teams for product commercialization.
- Troubleshoot product performance and quality issues and drive corrective actions.
- Candidates must have hands-on PPE product development/manufacturing experience.
- Candidates with only PPE sales, marketing, procurement or trading experience will not be preferred.
- Experience in BIS certification, PPE testing and industrial safety product manufacturing will be an added advantage.
