Job Title: Data Integration Engineer (ADF | Striim | Microsoft Fabric)

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Data Integration Engineer with up to 4 years of experience in building, monitoring, and supporting modern data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Striim, and Microsoft Fabric, with strong ETL troubleshooting capabilities and excellent client communication skills.
The role involves working directly with customers to monitor data pipelines, resolve production issues, optimize ETL workflows, and ensure seamless data movement across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Good at ServiceNow – monitoring queues and updating with progress
- Develop, maintain, and support ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines built on ADF, Striim, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Perform root cause analysis of ETL failures and implement permanent fixes.
- Debug data transformation, ingestion, and integration issues across multiple data sources.
- Monitor production data workflows to ensure SLA adherence and data quality.
- Work closely with client stakeholders to understand issues, provide updates, and drive issue resolution.
- Analyze logs, pipeline executions, and performance bottlenecks to improve reliability.
- Support deployment, testing, and migration of ETL solutions across environments.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams to deliver scalable data integration solutions.
- Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in production support and incident management activities.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Working knowledge of Striim for real-time data integration and CDC pipelines.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, or Data Engineering workloads.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration best practices.
- Experience debugging failed ETL jobs, pipeline failures, and data quality issues.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with relational databases and cloud-based data platforms.
- Understanding of production monitoring and incident management processes.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, or SQL Server.
- Basic knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts for data engineering.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
