What You'll Do
Design & Drawings
- Develop architectural concepts, design schemes, and presentation drawings for new government and museum projects.
- Produce GFC (Good for Construction) drawings — plans, sections, elevations, details — and coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior consultants.
- Prepare 3D visualisations, renders, and walkthroughs for client presentations and tender submissions.
- Review and mark up structural and shop drawings from consultants and vendors before execution.
Heritage & Museum Work
- Document existing heritage structures (measured drawings, condition mapping, photographic surveys) for conservation projects.
- Design interventions that respect heritage character while meeting modern functional and code requirements.
- Coordinate with curators and exhibition designers to translate curatorial intent into spatial design — gallery layouts, circulation, lighting, AV integration.
Estimation & Tendering
- Prepare and review BOQs, specifications, and rate analyses aligned with CPWD/UP PWD/UP Jal Nigam norms.
- Support tender preparation — drawings, technical write-ups, schedule of finishes.
- Vet vendor and contractor submittals against drawings and specifications.
Site Execution
- Travel to project sites for design supervision, quality checks, and resolution of execution issues.
- Issue site instructions, mark up as-built changes, and maintain a clean drawing register.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and the procurement team on material selection, mock-ups, and finishes.
Client & Approvals
- Present design proposals to government clients, district authorities, and review committees.
- Coordinate sanctions, NOCs, and approvals from local bodies, ASI (where applicable), and statutory authorities.
