Job Summary
The Territory Sales Incharge (TSI) is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by managing distributors, expanding the retail network, ensuring product availability, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong market execution, distributor management, and relationship-building skills to increase market share and strengthen brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets.
- Manage and develop distributors to ensure efficient product availability and market coverage.
- Expand the retail network by identifying and onboarding new outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to ensure strong execution.
- Monitor stock levels, product availability, freshness, and merchandising across outlets.
- Execute trade promotions, schemes, and marketing activities in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, new product launches, and market trends, and provide timely market feedback.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy distributor receivables.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit accurate sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG, food processing, or dairy product sales.
- Experience in distributor handling, retail sales, and territory management is preferred.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
