Position: GeM Tender Executive
Job Summary
The GeM Tender Executive will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal and other e-procurement platforms. The role involves tender searching, bid preparation, documentation, compliance management, customer coordination, and successful submission of government tenders.
Key Responsibilities
* Search, identify, and download relevant tenders from GeM and other e-procurement portals.
* Manage end-to-end GeM tendering activities, from tender evaluation to final submission.
* Prepare and submit Technical Bids, Commercial Bids, and Price Bids within deadlines.
* Handle GeM registration, product approval, brand approval, and catalog management.
* Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Technical, and Management) to collect required documents and information.
* Ensure compliance with tender specifications, government procurement guidelines, and company policies.
* Attend pre-bid meetings and provide clarifications as required.
* Manage EMD, Security Deposits, Bank Guarantees (BG), Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG), FDRs, DDs, and related documentation.
* Perform L1 Carting, order processing, invoice uploading, and order management on the GeM portal.
* Maintain records of tender submissions, bid openings, approvals, and payment follow-ups.
* Track tender schedules and maintain a tender calendar for upcoming opportunities.
* Coordinate with government departments, hospitals, institutes, distributors, and customers regarding tender-related matters.
* Prepare MIS reports, competitor analysis reports, and tender status updates for management review.
* Support sales and business development teams in achieving government business targets.
* Conduct customer visits and provide support for GeM-related queries and operational issues.

* Strong knowledge of GeM Portal and E-Procurement Processes.
* Tender Documentation and Bid Management.

* Product & Brand Approval Process on GeM.
* MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* MIS Reporting and Data Management.
* Excellent Communication and Coordination Skills.
* Attention to Detail and Documentation Management.
Qualifications
* Graduate in any discipline.
* Certification or training in GeM/E-Tendering will be an added advantage.
Experience
* 2–4 years of experience in GeM Tendering, E-Procurement, or Government Sales Support.
* Hands-on experience in handling government tenders and online bidding processes.
