Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer Intern to join our design team. This internship offers hands-on experience creating visual content across digital and print channels, working closely with marketing, content, and product teams to bring ideas to life. It's a great opportunity for an emerging designer to build a professional portfolio while learning how design fits into a real-world brand and marketing workflow.
Responsibilities
- Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Support the design team in creating and resizing assets for multiple platforms and formats.
- Assist in developing layouts, templates, and visual assets aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to translate briefs and copy into engaging visuals.
- Prepare and edit images, icons, and illustrations for use across digital and print media.
- Support production of presentation decks, brochures, banners, and event materials.
- Organise and maintain design files, assets, and templates in an accessible, well-structured library.
- Incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders to refine and finalise designs.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, and bring fresh ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals — layout, typography, colour, and composition.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign; familiarity with Canva or Figma is a plus.
- Basic understanding of design for both digital (social, web) and print media.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple design requests and deadlines.
- A collaborative attitude and openness to feedback.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g. After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut).
- Exposure to UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with social media content formats and best practices.
