Job Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the Operations/General Manager in overseeing daily hospitality operations. This role ensures smooth service delivery, supervises staff, and helps maintain high standards of guest satisfaction while meeting business goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Daily Operations Support
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations across departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B)
- Ensure smooth coordination between teams
- Monitor service quality and operational efficiency
2. Team Supervision
- Supervise staff during shifts and ensure duties are performed properly
- Assist in training new employees
- Handle shift scheduling and attendance
3. Guest Service
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Handle guest complaints and escalate when necessary
- Maintain high service standards
4. Administrative Tasks
- Prepare daily reports (sales, occupancy, performance)
- Maintain records and documentation
- Assist in inventory and stock control
5. Financial Assistance
- Support budgeting and cost control activities
- Monitor daily expenses and revenue
- Help in achieving sales targets
6. Compliance & Hygiene
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Follow company policies and local regulations
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
Experience
- 2 years of experience in hospitality (hotel, restaurant, café, etc.)
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
