Job Description (JD)Lead Engineer– Interior/EXterior Trims Design (CATIA)/UGNX
Location : Pune
Notice Period should be immediate joiner or 15 days or 1 Month
Experience:3–10 years in automotive interior trim design.
Experience with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
Education:B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience in CATIA V5./UGNX Design and development of interior trim parts
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop automotive interior plastic components.
Perform feasibility studies and packaging analysis.
Ensure tooling and manufacturing feasibility.Coordinate with customers, suppliers, tooling, CAE, and manufacturing teams.Conduct design reviews and support prototype and production activities.
Lead a small team of design engineers and ensure timely project delivery. Lead product development from concept to production.Review design feasibility, tooling feasibility, and engineering changes (ECN/ECR).Mentor and guide junior design engineers.
Handle customer interactions and project delivery.
Required Skills:Strong experience in Automotive Interior Trims Design.
Expert in CATIA V5.Knowledge of Master sections plastic part design, tooling feasibility, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in OEM/Tier-1 projects.Good understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and automotive development processes.Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹20,974.92 - ₹300,000.00 per month
