About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to support our accounting, taxation, and compliance functions. The candidate should have a strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations, along with hands-on exposure to billing and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries, including journal postings, ledger maintenance, and accurate recording of financial transactions in line with accounting standards
- Handle end-to-end invoicing and billing processes, ensuring accuracy, correct GST application, and compliance with company and statutory requirements
- Work extensively on GST compliance across multiple states, including preparation and filing support for monthly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and annual returns (GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C)
- Perform GST reconciliations including GSTR-2A/2B matching, sales and purchase reconciliations, and validation of Input Tax Credit (ITC)
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and stay updated with changes in GST and taxation laws
- Assist in TDS compliance, including deduction, calculation, timely deposit, and filing of returns such as Form 26Q
- Ensure correct applicability of TDS sections and rates as per prevailing tax laws and maintain proper documentation for all filings and deductions
- Support vendor payment processing, invoice verification, approval tracking, and timely disbursement of payments
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies
- Maintain proper financial documentation and records for statutory audits, internal reviews, and compliance purposes
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants/auditors for compliance activities, audits, and reporting requirements
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/BBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Taxation, and Compliance
- Preferred industry background: Candidates from E-commerce, FMCG, BPO, or similar high-volume transaction environments will be preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of:GST framework, return filings, reconciliations, and input tax credit (ITC) management. Filing of monthly GST returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
- Annual GST return filings including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C
- TDS concepts, deduction rules, applicable sections, and return filings Statutory compliance and taxation regulations
- Proficiency in taxation norms
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools such as Busy, Tally or similar ERP/accounting software
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage compliance timelines effectively
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
