Job Summary:
UKG is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Product & Engineering FP&A team, reporting directly to the Manager of FP&A. This role will be responsible for analyzing monthly and quarterly expense performance, identifying cost drivers, supporting forecasting cycles, and preparing management reporting. A key focus of this role will be end-to-end ownership of budgeting and forecasting exercises.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure headcount and expenses for the supported organizations are accurate and any variances are documented and resolved
- Process headcount changes, update expense forecasts and ensure financial systems are updated timely and with high levels of accuracy
- Develop and maintain forecast models, aligning with hiring plans and business priorities
- Support monthly close processes, including:
- Preparation and review of accruals
- Journal entry preparation and validation
- Monthly close reviews and variance validation
- Perform variance and trend analysis across actuals, budget, and forecast; identify key cost drivers and provide actionable insights
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly reports for Customer Success Expense/Headcount Forecasting
- Ad hoc projects/analysis as needed.
- Handle and resolve Position number queries in collaboration with the Business teams
- Support annual budgeting cycles, ad hoc analysis, and audit requirements as needed
Skills/Qualification: -
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company is required
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, especially in large-scale analytical modeling
- Experience working with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
- Prior experience with TM1 reporting preferred
- Power BI experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across global teams
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve processes
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance required
- CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred
