Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance across all guest and back-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team on daily operations.
- Prepare daily duty rosters and allocate work efficiently.
- Inspect guest areas, restrooms, dining areas, offices, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and staff performance.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and consumables.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Kitchen, and Operations teams for repairs and upkeep.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning materials.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and housekeeping checklists.
- Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel, restaurant, pub, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills in English, Kannada, or Hindi.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities commonly include supervising staff, scheduling work, training team members, maintaining sanitation standards, and managing housekeeping supplies. (Indeed)
