We are hiring Certified Public Accountants (India) with strong expertise in US taxation for a remote, project-based opportunity focused on US tax compliance and legal interpretation. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives by applying real-world tax knowledge to train and improve advanced systems. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and annotate sections of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and US Treasury Regulations, focusing on nuanced statutory language and exceptions.
- Review and evaluate US tax legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and correct application of statutory provisions.
- Assess individual tax returns (Form 1040) in accordance with current IRS regulations and compliance standards.
- Prepare clear summaries and explanatory notes to simplify complex tax concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and potential misinterpretations within IRS materials and legal documentation.
- Collaborate remotely, delivering structured written insights and effectively communicating findings.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Public Accountant (India) certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in US tax law, including IRC and Treasury Regulations.
- Proven experience in preparing or reviewing US individual tax returns (Form 1040).
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret legal and tax-related documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to identify statutory nuances and exceptions.
- Comfortable working with complex legal language at the source level.
