- Act as strategic advisor to the CEO/MD and Board, providing financial insight to guide investment decisions, pricing strategy, and growth initiatives.
- Drive fundraising, banking relationships, and capital-raising initiatives (debt/equity), including investor relations and due diligence support.
- Lead M&A evaluation, financial due diligence, valuation, and post-merger financial integration where applicable.
- Champion enterprise risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance practices across the organization.
- Direct statutory, tax, and regulatory strategy (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC and other compliance frameworks), ensuring the organization stays ahead of regulatory change.
- Own the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycle, presenting board-level MIS, dashboards, and performance reviews.
- Lead relationships with statutory auditors, tax advisors, rating agencies, and financial institutions at a strategic level.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounts leadership team, including succession planning for key roles.
- Drive digital transformation of the finance function — ERP/finance systems strategy, automation, and analytics-led decision-making.
- Evaluate and structure commercial contracts, pricing models, and vendor/customer negotiations from a financial risk and profitability standpoint.
- Ensure robust working capital management and treasury strategy to support business scalability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); additional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.

- Demonstrated experience presenting to boards, investors, or senior leadership, with strong command over financial strategy and corporate finance.
- Prior exposure to fundraising, M&A, or investor relations is highly desirable.
- Deep expertise in Indian accounting standards, direct/indirect taxation, and corporate regulatory frameworks.
- Strong command over ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent) and advanced financial modeling capability.
- Proven track record of building and scaling finance teams, with excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
