Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, and servicing of medical equipment at customer sites. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused approach, and a willingness to travel for service assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and demonstrate medical equipment at customer locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to medical equipment.
- Attend breakdown service calls and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate with customers, biomedical engineers, and hospital staff during installation and servicing.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
- Train end users on the proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Coordinate with the service and spare parts team for timely availability of required components.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and safety procedures.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical, electronics, or biomedical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of medical equipment installation and servicing.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to prepare service reports and documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may apply.
- Candidates with 1–5 years of experience in medical equipment servicing will be preferred.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in servicing medical equipment such as Patient Monitors, OT Lights, Surgical Tables, Suction Units, Autoclaves, CSSD Equipment, or other hospital devices.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits across Delhi/NCR and nearby locations.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence and own vehicle will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
