Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will support strategic and operational HR functions of the hospital, including manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and NABH HR documentation. The role ensures smooth HR operations for clinical and non-clinical staff while aligning HR practices with hospital standards and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for doctors, consultants, nursing, paramedical, and administrative staff.
- Support manpower planning and departmental staffing requirements.
- Supervise attendance, leave management, shift planning, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain NABH HR documentation, audits, and compliance records.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Support performance appraisal, promotions, and succession planning.
- Conduct HR audits, MIS reporting, and manpower analysis.
- Plan employee engagement, retention, welfare, and training initiatives.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred
Experience
- 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in hospital / healthcare industry
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of hospital HR operations and NABH standards
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in HRMS, MIS, and MS Office
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹425,000.00 per year
