We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to manage daily operations at our Perungudi site office. The ideal candidate will act as the central hub for administrative support, managing contractor gate passes, labor attendance, material procurement support, and acting as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Gate Pass & Security Management:
- Manage daily entry/exit passes for contractors, staff, and visitors at site.
- Maintain the visitor register and ensure compliance with site security protocols.
- Labour Attendance & Records:
- Record daily labour attendance and maintain records for payroll processing.
- Track staff and labourer movement and coordinate with site engineers for updates.
- Procurement Support:
- Support procurement of materials and consumables for site needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely material delivery.
- HR Assistance:
- Act as the initial HR point of contact for workers and staff.
- Assist in onboarding new labor/staff and managing exit formalities.
- Maintain personnel records and help manage HRMIS systems.
- General Administration:
- Handle front desk operations, answer phone calls, and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence.
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems.
- Ensure the site office is maintained, including pantry and stationary supplies.
Requirements:
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in construction or industrial admin roles (Freshers welcome).
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and basic office software (Tally knowledge is a plus).
- Languages: Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English, Hindi.
- Qualities: Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
