Position: Executive - Maintenance
Department: Maintenance -Electricals
Location: Umbergaon, Sanjan - Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of automation and electrical equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose and rectify faults related to PLCs, VFDs, sensors, encoders, motors, solenoid-operated valves (SOVs), and control systems.
- Monitor and maintain SCADA systems and process automation equipment.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support RFID readers, barcode scanners, and HMI systems.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical wiring diagrams, control schematics, and panel drawings.
- Ensure proper functioning of communication networks and protocols used in automation systems.
- Use electrical testing and maintenance tools safely and effectively for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout-tagout (LOTO) practices, and electrical safety guidelines during maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and corrective actions.
- Support installation, commissioning, and improvement projects related to automation systems.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Working knowledge of various sensors, limit switches, encoders, motors, and SOVs (Solenoid Operated Valves).
- Knowledge of RFID readers, barcode scanners, and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and control circuits.
- Knowledge of electrical maintenance tools, testing instruments, and their applications.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and process automation.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, CAN Bus, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Awareness of industrial safety standards and field maintenance precautions.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or process industries.
