Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering graduate/intern to support our Sales & Marketing team. The intern will assist in identifying business opportunities, interacting with customers, preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting market research, and supporting business development activities. This role offers valuable exposure to industrial sales, customer engagement, and marketing strategies in the engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales & Marketing team in lead generation and business development activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and industry trends.
- Support preparation of technical presentations, proposals, quotations, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather technical information for customer requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities.
- Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and reports.
- Assist in organizing exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and promotional events.
- Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
- Support digital marketing and branding initiatives as required.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and industrial products.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Final-year students or recent graduates are preferred.
- Prior internship/project experience in sales, marketing, or industrial engineering is an added advantage.
