About the Role
We are looking for an experienced GeM Executive to manage and execute the company's business activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid identification, tender participation, quotation preparation, order processing, documentation, and coordination with government departments and internal teams.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GeM portal operations, government tenders, bid submission, order management, and government institutional sales, preferably within the medical equipment or healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on the GeM Portal.
- Search and identify relevant GeM bids, tenders, and procurement opportunities.
- Analyze bid eligibility criteria, technical specifications, BOQ, EMD, performance security, and other requirements.
- Prepare and submit GeM bids and reverse auction participation within stipulated timelines.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Technical, Finance, and Operations teams for bid preparation.
- Prepare technical and commercial documents required for GeM participation.
- Upload product catalogues, specifications, certifications, compliance documents, and other required information.
- Manage and update the company's GeM product catalogue.
- Coordinate product pricing, specifications, brand details, warranty information, and other catalogue requirements.
- Track submitted bids from submission to evaluation, award, and order placement.
- Monitor GeM orders, delivery schedules, invoicing, and payment status.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Handle government buyer queries and provide necessary clarifications.
- Maintain proper records of bids, orders, contracts, invoices, and related documentation.
- Monitor tender notifications and government procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with government departments, hospitals, PSUs, and other institutional buyers when required.
- Maintain a database of ongoing and completed bids and prepare regular MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with GeM rules, company policies, and applicable government procurement guidelines.

Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or related field will be an advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in GeM operations, government tendering, or institutional sales.
- Hands-on experience in GeM bid submission and order processing.
- Good understanding of government procurement procedures.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
