We are seeking a passionate and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable courses and programs. The candidate will be responsible for handling inquiries, counselling students and parents, converting leads into admissions, and ensuring a seamless enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding educational programs, courses, and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Understand students' educational needs and recommend suitable courses.
- Follow up with prospective students to drive admissions and achieve enrollment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and admissions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure smooth onboarding of students.
- Conduct career guidance sessions and provide information about course benefits and outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in admission drives, educational events, and promotional activities.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling and relationship-building abilities.
- Good presentation and convincing skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
Qualification:
- Any Graduate (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can also apply.
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Admission Counselling, Education Sales, Telecalling, or Customer Relationship Management.
