We are hiring for VMC Operator !!!
Location: Ambernath
Qualification Required: ITI or similar technical qualification
Experience Required: 2–4 years
Salary Range: 20k–23k per month
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) as per drawing specifications.
- Load and unload components and ensure proper clamping and alignment.
- Set tools, take offsets, and select appropriate CNC programs.
- Perform milling, drilling, tapping, and contouring operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings to maintain dimensional accuracy and tolerances.
- Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
- Maintain machining parameters to achieve required surface finish and quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor.
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of VMC machine operations.
- Basic understanding of G-Code & M-Code.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with GD&T (preferred).
- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
