Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baking Technician cum Trainer for our SHG entrepreneurship and livelihood development program in Thana Kalan, Una, Himachal Pradesh. The candidate will be responsible for training Self Help Groups (SHGs) and rural women in bakery production, baking techniques, hygiene practices, packaging, and small-scale bakery entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical training sessions on baking and bakery product preparation.
- Train participants in preparation of cakes, biscuits, cookies, breads, muffins, and other bakery products.
- Demonstrate mixing, baking, decorating, storage, and finishing techniques.
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards during production.
- Train SHG members on measurement, ingredient handling, oven usage, and quality control.
- Guide participants on packaging, labeling, branding, and shelf-life management.
- Support small-scale bakery production setup and entrepreneurship activities.
- Assist in costing, pricing, and local market readiness of bakery products.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and production reports.
- Support awareness sessions on food safety and basic FSSAI compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience in bakery production, baking, or food processing.
- Minimum 1–3 years of practical experience in bakery or confectionery preferred.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.
- Experience working with SHGs, women groups, or livelihood projects preferred.
- Good communication and practical demonstration skills.
