- Understand the client’s needs, preferences, and budget.
- Conduct interviews or surveys to assess lifestyle, functionality, and aesthetic goals.

- Analyze and plan the layout of interior spaces.
- Ensure efficient use of space, accessibility, and flow.
- Consider furniture placement, lighting, and movement patterns.
3. Design Development
- Create design concepts using sketches, mood boards, and 3D models.
- Select color schemes, materials, lighting, furniture, and finishes.
- Balance functionality, aesthetics, and client preferences.
4. Budget Management
- Prepare cost estimates for design, materials, and labor.
- Work within the client’s budget while maximizing design quality.
- Source cost-effective materials and furnishings.
5. Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Use software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit for technical planning.
6. Project Coordination
- Oversee and manage the implementation of the design.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Consider environmental sustainability and ergonomic standards.
8. Styling & Final Touches
- Supervise the installation of furniture, art, lighting, and decor.
- Perform the final styling to achieve the desired ambiance and functionality.
9. Communication & Presentation
- Present design proposals to clients clearly and persuasively.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project.
10. Trend Awareness
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
- Incorporate innovative ideas while maintaining timeless appeal.
