Job Title: MEP Site Engineer – Plumbing

We are looking for a dedicated MEP Site Engineer (Plumbing) to oversee and execute plumbing works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising installation activities, ensuring quality, coordinating with contractors and clients, and completing projects within the scheduled timeline while complying with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all plumbing installation works at the project site.
- Execute plumbing systems as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other MEP disciplines.
- Review and interpret plumbing drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Plan daily site activities and allocate manpower effectively.
- Ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality requirements.
- Inspect materials received at the site and ensure they meet project specifications.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to plumbing installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate material requirements and monitor material consumption.
- Verify measurements and prepare work completion records for billing purposes.
- Attend site meetings and provide project updates to management.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handing over of plumbing systems.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, sewage, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing and MEP drawings.
- Strong knowledge of installation standards and site execution.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Plumbing/MEP is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in plumbing site execution or MEP site engineering.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial projects is preferred.
