- Advanced Repairs & Diagnosis: Perform complex denting, panel beating, structural alignment, and welding on damaged vehicles.
- Quality Control: Ensure all body shop repairs meet MSIL (Maruti Suzuki India Limited) standards and minimize re-work (comebacks).
- Team Leadership: Guide and supervise junior technicians and apprentices in repair techniques and technical parameters.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repair jobs, update job cards, and document technical parameters related to the repair.
- Equipment Maintenance: Properly use and maintain workshop tools, welding machinery, and painting equipment.
- Customer Focus: Coordinate with Body Shop Advisors to ensure timely delivery of vehicles and, if necessary, explain repair processes to customers.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety rules, accident prevention regulations, and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in denting, panel repairing, paint booth operations, and using measuring tools.
