As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications that support business functions. The position demands continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while swiftly addressing any disruptions that may impact business continuity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of application issues and minimize downtime.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to optimize service delivery.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management processes within IT service environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and understanding of business process workflows related to service management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
