Requied Staff Nurse for Garments
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to manage our garment factory’s medical room/first aid center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate medical care, handling workplace injuries, conducting routine health check-ups, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations for our factory workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- First Aid & Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention and first aid treatment to factory workers for injuries, illness, or medical emergencies on the production floor.
- Occupational Health Management: Maintain the company's occupational health center (OHC), ensuring medical equipment and emergency medicines are always stocked and within expiry dates.
- Health Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and confidential digital/physical health records of all employees, including incident reports and medical leaves.
- Health Check-ups: Assist visiting factory doctors during routine or annual health check-ups for employees.
- Wellness & Safety Awareness: Conduct health awareness programs, maintain hygiene standards in the facility, and train staff/floor supervisors on basic first aid and safety protocols.
- Referrals & Coordination: Coordinate with nearby hospitals or emergency services in case an employee requires advanced medical care or hospitalization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: B.Sc in Nursing or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a nurse. Experience working in an industrial setting, factory, or garment manufacturing unit is highly preferred.
- Registration: Valid nursing council registration.
- Skills: * Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency medical procedures, and occupational health.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with factory workers and management.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining health records.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure or during medical emergencies.
