- Supervise workers, subcontractors, and daily site activities.
- Read drawings, plans, and work schedules; assign tasks accordingly.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure work meets quality standards.
- Enforce site safety rules, use of PPE, and safe working practices.
- Check materials, tools, and equipment availability and usage.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, suppliers, and clients.
- Track work progress against the project timeline and report delays.
- Inspect completed work and arrange corrections where needed.
- Maintain daily records: labour attendance, material use, progress, incidents, and site reports.
- Help control waste, costs, and use of materials within budget.
- Resolve routine on-site issues and escalate major technical or safety problems.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and company procedures.
