Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content and ranking improvements
- Assist in on-page SEO optimization (meta tags, headers, internal linking, etc.)
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Support off-page SEO efforts, including backlink research and outreach
- Help track and report on SEO metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions)
- Assist with competitor analysis and industry trend research
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO strategies with content creation
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar (a plus, not required)
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Good written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
