We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the establishment and operation of our new Turmeric Processing Plant in Nanded. The selected candidate will work closely with the senior engineering team during the plant setup, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and utilities.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for fresh engineering graduates to gain hands-on industrial experience in plant engineering, equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and continuous process improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Establishment
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of turmeric processing machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and installation teams.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Support factory layout planning and equipment positioning.
- Participate in trial runs and commissioning activities.
- Prepare installation reports and maintain project documentation.
Equipment Maintenance
- Assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor the performance of plant machinery and identify potential issues.
- Attend machinery breakdowns and support troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure timely maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Maintain service history and maintenance records for all equipment.
Utilities Management
Assist in the operation and maintenance of:
- Air compressors
- Boilers (where applicable)
- Pumps
- Motors
- Gearboxes
- Conveyors
- Packaging machines
- Electrical and mechanical utilities (in coordination with the electrical team)
Spare Parts & Inventory
- Maintain records of machine spare parts and consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase requisitions when required.
- Assist in vendor coordination for procurement of mechanical components.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all plant safety rules and engineering standards.
- Ensure machinery complies with safety requirements before operation.
- Participate in safety inspections and audits.
- Support implementation of 5S and good housekeeping practices.
Documentation
- Prepare daily engineering activity reports.
- Maintain equipment manuals, drawings, warranty records, and maintenance logs.
- Update preventive maintenance checklists and inspection records.
- Assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Suggest modifications to improve productivity and equipment reliability.
- Participate in cost-saving and energy-efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with internship or project experience in manufacturing or food processing industries will have an added advantage.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹19,725.86 - ₹62,154.11 per month
