Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Admission Counselor to join our admissions team. The Admission Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about institute programs, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic journey at IIFD.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information about institute programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, campus tours, and orientation programs for prospective students and their families.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, addressing questions about courses, admissions, scholarships, and other related queries.
- Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, portfolios, and other admission documents as part of the application process.
- Assist students in completing application forms, preparing required documents, and guiding them through the application submission process.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of student inquiries, applications, and admissions data.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to organize and participate in recruitment events, fairs, and workshops to promote institute programs.
- Represent the institute at external events, exhibitions, and educational fairs to attract potential students.
- Prepare reports on admission statistics, trends, and analysis for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in admissions counseling, student services, or related roles, preferably in an educational institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with educational counseling techniques and student recruitment strategies.
- Knowledge of fashion design or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
