Academic Coordinator – Roles & Responsibilities
The Academic Coordinator shall be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and improving the academic standards of the school. The key responsibilities include:
- Plan, implement, and monitor the academic curriculum in accordance with the school's policies and the applicable board guidelines.
- Prepare the academic calendar, yearly planner, and examination schedule.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and maintain high academic standards across all classes.
- Observe classroom teaching, conduct lesson audits, and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Organize teacher training programs, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Monitor lesson plans, teaching methodologies, student assessments, and academic records.
- Coordinate periodic tests, examinations, result preparation, report cards, and analysis of student performance.
- Identify slow learners and gifted students, and plan appropriate academic support and enrichment programs.
- Conduct regular meetings with teachers to review academic progress and address classroom challenges.
- Maintain effective communication with the Principal, teachers, parents, and students regarding academic matters.
- Ensure proper implementation of school policies, discipline, and classroom management practices.
- Monitor the use of teaching-learning materials, digital resources, laboratories, and library facilities for effective learning.
- Coordinate co-curricular and enrichment activities that support students' overall development.
- Maintain all academic documentation, records, and reports required by the school and the education board.
- Assist the Principal during inspections, audits, affiliations, and accreditation processes.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE/State Board guidelines, examination regulations, and academic policies, as applicable.
- Analyze academic results and prepare action plans to improve student performance.
- Promote innovative teaching practices, technology integration, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Support student counselling, parent meetings, and grievance resolution related to academics.
- Perform any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Principal or the Management from time to time.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
