Role Overview
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth project execution, coordinating with contractors and vendors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely project completion. The role requires strong supervision, planning, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations & Supervision
- Supervise daily on-site work and monitor project progress.
- Ensure work is executed according to drawings, designs, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other labor teams.
- Monitor attendance and productivity of on-site workers.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients for smooth execution.
- Schedule and track work activities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Escalate delays, material shortages, or site issues to management.
Quality Control
- Inspect workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Verify measurements and installations before final approval.
- Ensure finishing work meets company and client expectations.
Material & Inventory Management
- Monitor material availability at site.
- Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
- Prevent material wastage and maintain stock records.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure site safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Ensure tools and equipment are handled properly.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily progress reports.
- Update management on site status, issues, and completion timelines.
- Maintain documentation related to site work and approvals.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in site supervision, interior execution, construction, or fit-out projects is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of on-site execution, material handling, and contractor coordination is preferred.
