This Finance Analyst role partners closely with the leadership of the Sales & Finance organisation. You will act as a trusted advisor who assists in a cross-functional capacity to align financial and investment goals for the India Sales business. Additionally, the role serves a critical function connecting and communicating commercial performance for India Sales to the greater Apple finance organisation.","responsibilities":"Manage the end-to-end Performance Management process for Sales financials, including consolidation of historical revenue and costs, in-depth analytics on key performance indicators, and performance updates to key executives and the broader organisation.
Drive ROI on various investments made to drive higher Sales. This includes planning based on historical trends and adjustments made to derive the highest Sales at the lowest possible cost.
Lead the Annual Financial Planning process in support of long-term strategic priorities for the Line of Business and Sales organisations supported by you.
Run an error-free claims management process while ensuring accurate and timely settlement with the Accounts Payables team.
Partner with Sales and Finance leadership teams on ad hoc projects to drive current and future business goals and trends.
Complete ad hoc financial analysis and miscellaneous projects in support of actuals and forecast processes and overall business initiatives.
Lead continued innovation across all aspects of the role through cross-team collaboration, utilising financial tools and data to enhance the quality and impact of insights.
Provide critical thought leadership in the development and maintenance of financial systems and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Excel and modelling skills. Shown ability to distill complex decisions into simple but comprehensive financial models.
Proven experience developing and improving processes, with a desire to drive continuous improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results and increase alignment between separate business units.
Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organisation.
Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
Experience with presentation software (Keynote preferred), enterprise finance systems (SAP), and data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, etc.) required; SQL knowledge a plus.
Big picture thinking with inherent curiosity to connect dots, understand all facets of Apple's distinct Retail and Sales organisations, and drive decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in a high-performance and fast-growing organisation
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative field
CA/CPA/MBA Preferred
