Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians and service advisors, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate service department activities, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Team Management: Hire, train, and evaluate service technicians and advisors, fostering a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Manage parts and inventory levels, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase service sales and revenue.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in automotive technology or business administration preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in automotive service management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction
