The Regional Materials Manager is responsible for implementing Regional production planning, master scheduling, inventory management planning policies and practices in their region, with the goal of driving down past-due backlog (PDBL), improving on-time delivery (OTD), and optimizing inventory management. By joining our Materials Management team, you’ll work with highly engaged professionals and subject matter experts collaborating with our leaders and teams in our facilities to drive change and standardization through world class planning processes and systems.
Responsibilities:

Mentor, coach and develop site Materials Managers on process, data and people management

Implement and oversee the site Supply planning process as part of platform Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)

Identify site level actions required to achieve agreed upon Supply Plans and raise those actions for resolution through the SIOP process

Implement Flowserve’s global strategic Materials Management processes for Master Scheduling, MRP Planning, Production Control and Inventory Management at all sites across the region

Identify gaps in site-level planning processes and work with Site Materials Managers to resolve them

Partner with Materials Management leadership and cross-platform teams to develop best in class planning tools, practices and governance models

Create standard policies and procedures that will drive improvements in net working capital, speed, OTD, and delivery performance

Analyze trends, implement root cause analysis and ensure continuous improvement

Report and monitor KPIs related to MRP Master Data, Sales Order Promising, Work Order Planning, and Inventory Levels for all sites within the region

Collaborate with Platform leaders to coordinate improvements and partner to take corrective actions as needed, including deviation from process
Requirements:

Overall 10 years of experience along with minimum 5 years in a Planning role, of which at least 2 years as Planning Manager

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, or other manufacturing related degree program

Experience working in Engineer to order (ETO) environment

Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent in various levels of the organization

Thorough understanding of Materials requirement Planning (MRP)

Solid leadership experience, including prior leadership roles that required influence and change management skills, rather than direct authority

Track record of success working in an international, highly matrixed organization

Demonstrated continuous improvement skillset

Commercially astute with strong proficiency managing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data

Able to travel within region and occasionally internationally, approximately 50%

In depth knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in supply chain, Engineering, or other manufacturing related degree program from Tier 1 college or university

Professional certification in Inventory Management and/or Supply Chain Management
-
Certified Lean Practitioner
