About the Role
Nine Core Technology is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions for enterprise clients across India and the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
- Configure and customize ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Create and maintain Service Catalogs and custom applications using App Engine Studio.
- Build reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while ensuring optimal performance.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Follow ServiceNow best practices and maintain high-quality coding standards.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Expertise in ITSM and experience with one or more modules such as ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, or Service Portal.
- Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and ACLs.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Studio.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Additional certifications in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or CMDB are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow AI, Virtual Agent, or Automation Engine.
- Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience working with US-based clients or global delivery teams.
