Store Manager
Purpose: Overall control of store (inventory) function ensuring smooth material flow to production
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods
- Material Planning & Availability: Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
- Store Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch processes (FIFO/FEFO)
- Stock Control: Monitor minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, avoid excess or shortage
- Team Management: Lead store staff, allocate duties, train and monitor performance
- Coordination: Work closely with purchase, production, and quality departments
- Documentation & Systems: Ensure proper records (GRN, BIN cards, issue slips, ERP updates)
- Audit & Compliance: Handle stock audits, ensure compliance with company policies
- Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain safe storage practices and 5S standards
- Cost Control: Reduce wastage, damage, and inventory carrying costs
