We are looking for a detail-oriented Book Designer with a strong publication background to design educational, academic and children’s books. The candidate should have expertise in book layout, typography, print production, and visual storytelling.

*Key Responsibilities*
Book Design & Layout
Design book interiors, covers, and page layouts
Create visually engaging textbook and workbook designs
Maintain proper typography, spacing, alignment, and hierarchy
Design according to publishing and printing standards
Handle multi-page book formatting and pagination
*Content Formatting*
Format chapters, tables, exercises, and activities
Place images, illustrations, icons, and infographics properly
Ensure consistency in fonts, colors, and styles
Create master pages and templates
*Print & Production*
Prepare print-ready PDF files
Knowledge of bleed, margins, CMYK, DPI, and print specifications
Coordinate with printers and production teams
Check files for prepress and printing errors
*Creative Design*
Design attractive covers and marketing pages
Create educational visuals and infographics
Improve readability and student engagement through design
*Quality Control*
Proofcheck layouts before final printing
Ensure error-free alignment, image placement, and formatting
Maintain brand and publication guidelines
*Team Coordination*
Work with editors, content writers, illustrators, and publishers
Understand manuscript requirements and deadlines
Manage multiple book projects simultaneously
*Software Knowledge*
Candidate should have strong working knowledge of:
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
CorelDRAW
Basic knowledge of AI design tools is an advantage
*Educational Qualification*
Bachelor’s degree in any stream
*Experience Required*
Preferred Experience 2–8 years in publication or book designing
Experience in educational publishing preferred
Experience with textbooks, workbooks, children’s books.
*Preferred Candidate Profile*
Experience in school book publishing
Understanding of NCERT/CBSE/ICSE style books
Ability to create engaging academic layouts
Experience in infographic and educational visual creation
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
