Job Summary :-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 35 years of hands-on accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, reconciliations, MIS reporting, audit support, and book closure activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Pass and maintain daily accounting entries in the accounting system.
- Verify and process cash vouchers and bank vouchers.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
- Process bank payments and maintain payment records.
- Ensure timely payment of TDS and filing of TDS returns.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Assist in statutory audits and internal audits by providing schedules and supporting documents.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts.
- Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and financial reports.
- Perform additional accounting and finance-related activities as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 35 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling audits and financial closures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
