Job Profile: Lead, Cloud Engineer (Azure/AWS, Python) We are looking for an experienced Azure/AWS Cloud engineer with 8–10 years of experience as part of an AI engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer proficient in both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure to design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance web and REST-based cloud-native solutions. This role requires expertise in architecting resilient cloud solutions/applications using a blend of native cloud services and leading open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely within agile teams to drive automation, continuous integration/delivery, and operational excellence. While hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks is a valuable asset, it is not a mandatory requirement. Candidates with a strong foundation in cloud engineering and an eagerness to explore cutting-edge AI/ML advancements are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available web and RESTful applications on AWS/Azure using cloud-native and open-source technologies. Design cloud solutions for microservices and distributed web systems meeting scalability and security standards. Serve as a lead member of agile/scrum teams, driving CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps best practices. Educate teams on emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and adoption of automation, serverless, and event-driven models. Ensure optimal cloud performance, uptime, and cost efficiency through monitoring, automation, and proactive troubleshooting. Drive DevOps pipeline and infrastructure-as-code adoption through tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies. Define and document best practices, deployment strategies, and cloud security policies aligning with current industry frameworks. Qualifications • Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years architecting and implementing cloud Solutions • Deep understanding of core paradigms: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, and hybrid/multi-cloud. • Advanced proficiency in Python and hands-on development of RESTful APIs for cloud-native applications. • Track record leading architecture and deployment of production-grade systems using at least two major open-source technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch). • Proven experience building, optimizing, and securing CI/CD pipelines leveraging technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.. • Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, or Cloud AI/ML platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, etc.) as a project lead or primary contributor is nice to have • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and resolve any issues. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
